THE GREAT WEST
There’s more to explore in the Great West than a person could do in a lifetime. The wide-open vistas, big skies and splashes of color bring joy and sentimental feelings that I’ve been there in a past life.
WIND TURBINES
One of my favorites from the rolling prairie in southeastern Washington. The wind turbines stretched past the horizon, where clouds kissed the hilltops. The country road I had followed ended on private property — this was as far as I could go, but it was a great vantage point.
SUN FOLLOWS STORM CLOUDS
A bank of turbulent storm clouds roiled across the prairie hills in southeastern Washington. I drove like hell over sketchy backroads, following the clouds and looking for the right moment. Suddenly, the sun lit up this golden hill and chased the storm away.
